Raşit YAKALI;
He was born in Izmir/Tire in 1943. He worked as a primary school teacher for 5 years.
He started cartooning with the encouragement of Semih BALCIOĞLU. He was the founder of the "Çarşaf" Magazine Cartoon School and introduced many young people to cartoons.
He published the cartoon albums "With the Line", "Worker's Line", "From the Line with the Action", "Glazed Seagull" and "The Daily Cartoon".
He won awards and served as a jury member in national and international cartoon competitions.
He organized Cartoon Workshops in many educational institutions.
We wanted to honor Raşit YAKALI's efforts in cartoons by drawing his portraits.

Qualities to Look for in Cartoons to Participate in the Competition:
1. The competition is organized on an international scale and is a single category; It is open to all amateur and professional cartoonists.
2. Drawing technique is free. Cartoons must be in 300 dpi resolution and jpg format and should be sent to the specified e-mail address.
3. Cartoon dimensions should be minimum: A4 (21 x 29.7 cm) and maximum: A3 (29.7 x 42 cm).
4. The participant will be responsible for any possible disputes, plagiarism and similar claims.
5. Contestants must send their name, surname, address, telephone and e-mail addresses along with their cartoons.
6. Works submitted after the specified date will be excluded from the competition.
7. Selected cartoons will be published in Tebeşir Cartoon Magazine and sent to those whose works have been published.
8. Contestants can send as many cartoons as they want.
9. An electronic "Certificate of Honor" will be sent to everyone who participates.
10. All participants who submit their works to the competition are deemed to have accepted the above conditions.
