Visual moods sport and humor

Sports photography returns to rejoice us with shocking and hilarious images due to its ability to capture moments that reflect the human condition. And sport is life, emotion, joy, drama, sadness... and a whole range of feelings where humor, whether due to the gestures of the athletes, situations of imbalance, and unlikely plays, is present. For critics and specialists, “sports photography is an art that requires as much dedication and perseverance as practicing a sport. To be a good sports photographer it is necessary to know the sport you want to immortalize.”

Moods of the world - World of humors
Bulgaria Gabrovo / Museums

Not being known for the special humor of her people, due to the Ottoman influence, she knew the humorous ironies of Nasreddin Hoca, as well as sharing the witty Hitar Petar with the Macedonians. But today I wanted to focus on the central mountains of the country where there is a city totally dedicated to humor, local and international, with museums and exhibitions on all humorous genres: Gabrovo.

Oh humor, oh humor
In goodbye to the Luthiers

Les Luthiers is saying goodbye. Final farewell. They survived the death of three of their founders (Gerardo Masana, 1973; Daniel Rabinovich, 2015; Marcos Mundstock, 2020) and the retirement of two of their historical members (Ernesto Acher, 1986; Carlos Núñez Cortés, 2017), but they have not able to survive the fatigue and the age of the other two (Jorge Maronna and Carlos López Puccio, who are now 75 and 76 years old). It is hard to say goodbye to them, to accept their disappearance, but it is the law of life. Years go by and artists grow old or die.

Is artificial intelligence capable of handling concepts such as metaphor, irony, parody, etc?

Victor Raskin is a linguist, and linguists tend to deal with one sentence at a time. Script Model Grammar allows linguists to work with longer texts. Raskin talks about the structure of a joke by saying that everything in the joke's setup is ambiguous but set in the direction of the mundane. What the punch line does is change the setup of the joke from the mundane to the dramatic, or scatological, etc. been ambiguous, and that the auction has just changed the preparation. Because the punchline allows the audience to see all the ambiguity of the joke (both mundane and dramatic), the punchline is very epiphanal.
